A. Shop with us on the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Arttiques is open for business! In addition Customer Service Representatives will be available via email at info@arttiques.com to answer any questions you may have regarding our reproduction service.

Q. What about your prices?

A. Arttiques buys directly from Pacific Rim countries. This gives you the opportunity to order at very bottom prices.

Q. Can an order be shipped directly to my address from Asia?

A. No, for two reasons: in order to offer the lowest possible wholesale prices, Arttiques has no middlemen and buys direct. So, items must be cleared through US Customs by Arttiques. Secondly, as part of Arttiques quality control program, we want to ensure that pieces arrive without damage. To date, our record is 100% satisfaction.

Q. How long does it take to receive an order?

A. Orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours. You should receive your item within 1 week. Work begins promptly upon receipt of your order and payment. To maintain the lowest prices possible, major shipments are brought in through US Customs in containers monthly to keep freight charges low.

Q. Do you offer a money back guarantee?

A. Yes, your satisfaction means everything to us. That's why we offer only high quality reproductions and we guarantee the lowest price and your satisfaction! If for any reason you are not delighted with your purchase, you may return the piece within 14 days and we will refund the amount of your purchase less shipping and handling and less a 15% restocking charge. You will pay for return shipping, and all goods must be returned in perfect condition via UPS, in its original packaging.

Q. What does ASID mean after your name on the "Welcome" page?

A. The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the oldest and largest professional organization for interior designers. With over 30,000 members, ASID establishes a common identity for professionals in the field of interior design. Professional Membership in ASID recognizes an interior designer as having completed a course of accredited education, and/or practical work experience in interior design or a related field, and a rigorous 2 day national examination. These members have achieved the highest levels of accomplishments and knowledge in their field. The consumer public, other designers, and affiliated professionals acknowledge the "ASID" appellation after an interior designer's name as the hallmark for professionalism.

Q. Is it possible to have a specific piece reproduced?

A. Yes, this is often done by museums gift shops, corporate gift giving accounts, hotels, retail lamp stores, department stores, gift catalog buyers, etc. The buyer must commit to purchasing 200 pieces throughout a one year period. A photograph of the piece is submitted to the factory, a sample is made and sent to Arttiques. When the prototype meets our quality control and design criteria standards, the remainder of the pieces are manufactured. This program provides the opportunity for customization for a variety of needs by the consumer. Q. What about your free mailing list?

A. We update our web site: new pieces of art, new information, special offers, etc. Like hundreds of people if you want to subscribe to our free mailing list, please sign our guestbook.

Q. How do I place an order for Arttiques online catalog items?

A. Ordering online has never been easier! You can purchase one or several painting by clicking a button. While you are shopping you can check your shopping cart. Once you are done, just click submit and your total is calculated for you. Shipping, handling and insurance charges are based upon continental US delivery via UPS. Other circumstances will be addressed by our Customer Service Representatives via email. It's as easy as that! However, you have other options including :ordering by e-mail, ordering by fax or phoning in your order. The choice is yours. Q. What types of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover/Novus. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with Arttiques. Transactions outside the US will be handled by our Customer Service Representatives via email.

Q. Where do you ship?

A. Currently Arttiques order form addresses the needs of buyers in the continental US. Since shipping, handling and insurance costs may vary greatly on purchases outside these borders, the international orders will be handled on an individual basis by our Customer Service Representative via email.

Q. How does Arttiques ensure the security of payment?

A. We make shopping easy! Arttiques purchases are transacted securely. We use an encryption technology to protect all transfer of information. Credit card transactions are safe on Arttiques. Statistically, it's much safer to use your credit card on the Web than to use it in a restaurant or department store. Arttiques believes this is good, but we still take every possible precaution to protect the integrity of your credit card information.

Q. At what temperature are the pieces fired in the kiln?

A. The raw body and the colour are fired at the temperature of approximately 1,300 degrees C and 850 degrees C respectively.

Q. Can these pieces be converted to lamps?

A. Yes, for an additional $60.00 a piece will be drilled, electrically wired, and have a base and top cap affixed to the unit.
