The curved spout is painted with tightly scrolling foliage and joined to the neck with a bar-shaped strut, opposite a looped handle. The pear-shaped body has a pair of quatrefoil panels enclosing branches bearing peaches and pomegranates, the others with berries and peony branches. A band of upright lappets surround the foot and the neck displays a band of overlapping upright plantain leaves, all in a lovely blue. The estimated value of the original is US $9,000-$13,000.
